There’s no one quite like Adura! The youngest but often the wisest one around. She has a laugh that lights up any room she enters and she’s always such a joy to be around. She’s always quick to support others and gives the best advice, so it was my hope that she’d find someone that wouldn’t dim her light and that would fully embrace her for the loving, kind and bubbly person that she is.
So it was so beautiful to see that she found Seyitan, who has been able to support and uplift her in the same way that she does others. When they’re together you can see how they both champion each other and how they’re really each others number one cheerleader! When you’re around them their love is so evident and it’s clear the deep friendship they have, and not just because they call each other at least 5 times a day! I pray that sense of friendship, love and care remains in your marriage and that the future you both have together will be full of joy and laughter. I’m so happy for both of you and I can’t wait to witness you take this step into the rest of your lives together!
If you’ve ever been around Adura, you’ll know that although she may be the smallest in the room - she’s also the loudest! Growing up with Adura has meant constant entertainment, constant fun and constant laughter. She’s also the most supportive - you’ll never find anyone more supportive than my little one!
So imagine my joy when I met Seyitan. Having someone who can match her craziness and also be a big source of calmness and support for her is more than I could ever hope for. Being around them and seeing how much love and commitment they both have for one another has been immensely heartwarming. I’m so honoured to play a part in their special day! Meeting Adura has hands down changed my life! The *first* time we met in University, we held hands in pure horror from the film we were watching! From then on, I’m sure she knew that there would be no getting rid of me! Watching our relationship grow from strangers into a friendship, and finding its final form in a sisterhood has been nothing short of a beautiful love story in itself (sorry Seyitan!!)
Although thousands of miles apart, I was lucky enough to witness the best rom-com ever written - which is now The Oke love story. So wholesome and heartwarming, 10/10 I would definitely recommend!

Adura and I officially became friends on 10 October 2016 (according to Facebook) and it’s been a beautiful journey ever since!
Adura is my best friend, favourite flat mate and fellow intergalactic fairy. I’m so glad God ordained our paths to meet and stopped us from going to our desired univeristy’s! Meeting Adura at Uni was one of my favourite highlights and being her best friend is one of my greatest achievements.
I’m so happy for Adura and Seyitan. Their love story is what we used to talk about way back then in school! I pray that as they embark on this journey of marriage that God truly shows them how good it gets, and how great His love for them both is.

So happy to have met Seyitan through my then girlfriend 8 years ago at a Christmas party. Immediately connected like we grew up together, and quickly became family.
I couldn’t have asked for a better roommate to be wiping down bananas in the middle of the pandemic with. Living with Seyitan also gave me a front row seat to witness an innocent childlike crush, blossom to an everlasting love for his lovely fiancé Adura.
It was an absolute pleasure to have him as my Best Man at my wedding and I couldn’t be happier to play a similar role in the union of this amazing couple.
I’ve known Seyitan since we met back in the church JR High group named Outloud, back at KRT. However, it wasn’t until our early high school years where we became close friends. He was my first brother in Christ, so a brother who I would confide in and grow alongside. I have had the blessing to call him a friend and a brother for over a decade. We have grown from boys to men together, encouraging each other in Christ along the way.
At points in your life you meet people you just click with and you know they will have a place in your heart. Seyitan is that friend to me. Since we met in 2017, there are few people I can rely on and trust as deeply as him and it is truly an honor to call him a friend.
I remember when he first started talking to Adura, this man couldn't stop smiling when he would talk about her. From early in the relationship he knew he wanted her to be his wife. She makes him so happy and she really brightens up any space she's in.
I have watch them both grow in love and life and I'm beyond excited to celebrate with them this August.
Growing up with Seyitan has been a privilege. He’s always been an older brother to me as well as a role model. He’s one of the most intelligent, inspiring, and humble people you’ll ever meet. He is constantly challenging me to become the best version of myself - in mind, body and spirit, and has shown me love unconditionally ever since I met him.
